How I Gave Up Easily During Tough Times

I cannot be more candid while sharing my drawbacks. My Icon, Robin Sharma would call it “Victim Speak”, the following are my voices from the past (Yes! not anymore)

Whenever i muster enough courage and motivation to start something, within few days, I am faced with new challenges. Work stress, Minor health hiccups or Family emergencies. I never finished what i started.

I never was bold enough to advertise my goals and intentions to my family and friends so that I could say “No” to unexpected distractions and kept drifting in various ways according to the need of the day; be it family parties, weekend gatherings or pleasure travels.

I can’t talk about my innumerable ideas and projects that i started and quit in few days or a week’s time (been like this for over 17+ years). I realize now, in hindsight, that because i did not build the necessary momentum, i invariably failed. My motivation always wore out.

All said and done, whats going to be different this time around? I am “deliberately ” practicing consistency. Signing off with my favourite quote from Robin:

Consistency is the mother of mastery
